Gilbert Jordan Wallace, III “Fats”

Gilbert was born on Oct 21, 1963 to the union of Gilbert, Sr. and Lettie Wallace in Steubenville, Ohio.

He was educated in the Steubenville City School System and a proud graduate of the 1982 "Big Red" class.

He was a member of the Church of God in Columbus, Ohio. He was a wonderful and kind person. Although, he had a short time here on earth he touched so many lives and his memory will live on in all of those he loved.

Gilbert was preceded in death by his father; Gilbert, Sr., and a brother; Gilbert, Jr.

On February 17, 2013 at Grant Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio surrounded by his dedicated family Gilbert took his rest.

He is survived by his mother, Lettie (Claude) Rice, his fiance Tiajuana, children; Tania, Jordan, Alicia, MaKayla and Charles, his siblings; Violet Wallace-Benyamina, Paul, Jo-Ann, Tonya and Shontee’ Wallace and Glenda Hines, a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Funeral Service: Fri., Feb 22, 2013 at 1:00PM, Mt. Zion Baptist Church, 221 N 7th St., Steubenville, OH

The family will receive friends from 11:00AM-1:00PM on Friday at the church. Rev. Norries A. Hood, Sr. will officiate.

Burial will follow at Union Cemetery
